{"id":26,"date":"2023-01-12T12:32:53","date_gmt":"2023-01-12T12:32:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/conferences.coned.ncsu.edu\/colloids2023\/?page_id=26"},"modified":"2023-05-23T23:16:22","modified_gmt":"2023-05-23T23:16:22","slug":"housing","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/conferences.coned.ncsu.edu\/colloids2023\/housing\/","title":{"rendered":"Housing"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"padding-top: 20px\">\n<hr \/>\n<\/div>\n<p>Early registration housing rates for symposium attendees are available at four locations:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Wolf Village Apartments on the NC State campus<\/li>\n<li>Raleigh Marriott City Center<\/li>\n<li>Holiday Inn Express &amp; Suites Raleigh SW NC State<\/li>\n<li>TownePlace Suites by Marriott Raleigh-University Area<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Shuttle bus service between all the locations and the McKimmon Center will be provided.<\/p>\n<p>The Holiday Inn Express and TownePlace Suites are located adjacent to each other, 2.4 miles from the McKimmon Center. The Raleigh Marriott is 3 miles from the McKimmon Center in downtown Raleigh.<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #cc0000\"><strong>Wolf Village Apartments<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>The Wolf Village Apartments (WVA) complex is a 10 minute walk from the McKimmon Center. Shuttle bus service between Wolf Village and the McKimmon Center will be provided. Each apartment is divided into four fully furnished, <u>single occupancy<\/u> bedrooms with full-sized beds, two full bathrooms, a small living room, kitchen with microwave, stove, and refrigerator, combination washer\/dryer and high-speed internet with wi-fi throughout. ADA apartments are available.<\/p>\n<p>The WVA registration room rate is $ 40.00\/day plus a $20 one-time linen fee. Both fees are tax exempt. Daily guest parking passes ($10.60\/day) can be purchased on the Registration page of this website and at WVA check-in.<\/p>\n<p>The deadline for reserving a room at the Wolf Village Apartments is <span style=\"color: #cc0000\"><strong>Monday May 15, 2023.<\/strong> <strong>No opportunities to arrange for housing at WVA will be available after that date.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The on-campus Fountain Dining Hall and several fast food restaurants are within easy walking distance. A few full-service restaurants are also nearby near the fast food eateries.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reservations for Wolf Village housing are now closed.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #cc0000\"><strong>Marriott Center City<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>The Marriott Center City is a full-service hotel located 3 miles from the McKimmon Center in downtown Raleigh. Rooms and suites are available and amenities include a restaurant and a bar, on-site Starbucks, daily housekeeping, turndown service, free wi-fi, fitness center and an indoor pool. Numerous restaurants and bars are within easy walking distance. Limited shuttle bus service to the McKimmon Center will be provided.<\/p>\n<p>The deadline for early registration rate was <span style=\"color: #cc0000\"><strong>Saturday May 18, 2023<\/strong><span style=\"color: #000000\">.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>To receive the current regular Marriott Center City rate, you can using <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.marriott.com\/event-reservations\/reservation-link.mi?id=1673630128861&amp;key=GRP&amp;app=resvlink\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">this link<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #cc0000\"><strong>Holiday Inn &amp; Suites<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>The Holiday Inn Express &amp; Suites hotel is located 2.4 miles from the McKimmon Center, adjacent to the TownePlace Suites by Marriott. Amenities include free breakfast, free wi-fi, free parking, a microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker in each room, indoor pool and a fitness center. ADA rooms are available and the hotel is pet friendly. The only near-by restaurant is next door in the TownPlace Suites by Marriott. Limited shuttle bus service to the McKimmon Center will be provided.<\/p>\n<p>Symposium early-registration rates are $125 for a standard two queen bed room and $135 for a standard king bed room plus 7.25% State Sales tax and 6% Occupancy tax. Amenities include a kitchen in each suite, free breakfast, free wi-fi, free parking, a fitness center and an on-site restaurant. ADA suites are available and the hotel is pet friendly. Limited shuttle bus service to the McKimmon Center will be provided.<\/p>\n<p>Symposium early-registration rates are $145.00 for a Studio King Suite and $155.00 for a Studio Double Queen Suite. Those rates do not include the 6% Occupancy tax and 7.25% State Sales Tax for 13.25% total tax amount.
