Dr. Sackeena Gordon-Jones, PCC

Dr. Sackeena Gordon-JonesSackeena Gordon-Jones has been coaching professionally since 2003, with a focus on transformational leadership development, team effectiveness, organization and personal strategy development. She has developed and facilitated internal coaching programs as well as coaching skills programs for leaders. As an executive coach, she has coached hundreds of leaders, high potentials, and professional women throughout North America, Europe, and Asia. She also mentors other coaches who are pursuing their ICF credentials. She earned her coach certification from Duke University and CTI.

Sackeena is the president of Transformation Edge, a coaching and consulting practice, and the past-president of the International Coach Federation (ICF) Raleigh. Previously, Sackeena was head of Global Learning and Development for SAS. She is a past member of the ICF South-east Region Advisory Council and holds the ICF credential of Professional Certified Coach (PCC). Sackeena received the 2013 “Breaking Barriers” Award from ICF Global and the Inspired Leadership “Flame Award” from ICF-RAC.

Dr. Matthew Kersey, ACC

 
Dr. Matthew KerseyDr. Matthew Kersey is a leadership coach and instructor who specializes in 1) training accomplished professionals to be certified coaches, 2) coaching technical people who wish to excel in leadership roles and 3) coaching teams towards key goals. Matthew successfully transitioned from bench scientist to leading crossfunctional, global product development teams during his career in the pharmaceutical industry. He has developed a unique combination of leadership skills and coaching experience to meet the business needs of accomplished technical professionals.

Matthew is president of Transition States Coaching and Training and is a graduate of the NC State University Business Coaching certificate program. He is credentialed through the International Coach Federation and has coached fascinating leaders in the U.S., UK, China, and Latin America as an internal coach within a multinational pharmaceutical company.

Matthew received his B.A. in Chemistry from The College of the Holy Cross and his Ph.D. in Chemistry from Duke University.


Dr. Brian Nichol and Lou Raye Nichol, M.Ed., PCC co-founded the Business Coaching Certificate Program in 2002.
