In addition to coursework, you will have the opportunity to participate in field trips and cultural activities in the evenings and on weekends. Past activities have included games night, a Durham Bulls minor league baseball game, Gallery Walk, and city tours. On the weekends, activities have included a visit to a farmer’s market, a trip to Falls Lake Recreational Park, a University Club swim day, Salsa dance lessons, and having a meal with an American family. International Night, the most popular event where participants contribute entertainment and international dishes from their home countries, and the final Gala Banquet give participants opportunities to share and socialize.
